Views of Hoboken 2002

Alli and I moved from Del Mar, CA to Hoboken, NJ in April of 2002. We joined two friends that were renting a 3br apartment at 333 River Street. These are the first few pictures we took of our new town.

This is a photo of NYC with no zoom from our bedroom balcony at 333 River Street. The tallest building in the distance is the Empire State Building.
This is a view of Washington Street in Hoboken looking north near 6th Street.
Here is the corner of Washington Street and 8th Street in Hoboken, NJ. On the NW corner with the green awning is the 8th Street Tavern.
Our cat (named Kitten) just relaxing. This was taken when we lived at 333 River Street.
This is a view looking out from our bedroom on the 12th floor at 333 River Street. I hate heights. The next place we moved to was on Hudson Street - and we were on the ground floor.
Here is another view from our old bedroom looking out onto the Hudson River. Stevens Institute is located on the hill.
Hoboken is the birthplace of baseball. Here is a view of the local little league baseball field (4th and River St.) from our bedroom balcony.
Next to the baseball field is a little park. Here is view of it from our balcony. Every place in Hoboken is very PET FRIENDLY. In fact, this park has a special doggy section for playing (area in white).
Hoboken is across the Hudson River from Manhattan, and has great views of the city. Here is the view from 4th and River Street.
Hoboken has a ton of old churches. I forget the name and location of this church.
